HYDERABAD: Lingamaneni Sanjush, son of Andhra Pradesh Rajya Sabha MP and Jana Sena functionary Lingamaneni Ramesh, said on Friday that he did not flee the scene after the August 16 road accident in which 26-year-old mall employee Bharati Mukhi was fatally injured.Sanjush said he immediately took Bharati to Apollo Hospital in his vehicle to ensure she received medical treatment. She later died while undergoing treatment, he said.He also said he went to the police station himself after the accident, informed officers about the incident and cooperated with the investigation.Sanjush said police conducted a breath analyser test, urine test and blood test to determine whether he had consumed alcohol or drugs, and all three tests returned negative.Madhapur police had booked Sanjush, 21, for rash and negligent driving after his Aston Martin allegedly hit Bharati near Inorbit Mall around 3pm on August 16.
