RSS meet to discuss demographic imbalance, drug abuse among youth
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is holding a three-day coordination meeting in Visakhapatnam to discuss demographic changes, youth drug abuse, and organizational strategy. The event will involve over 300 delegates from various affiliated groups to review social campaigns and development models.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) three-day All India Coordination Meeting will focus on demographic changes, drug abuse among youth and strengthening coordination among Sangh-inspired organisations, RSS national publicity chief Sunil Ambekar said on Tuesday (August 18, 2026).
The meeting will be held in Visakhapatnam from August 19 to 21. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale and other senior functionaries will be present in the meeting.
Around 327 delegates from 32 affiliated organisations, including the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and the Rashtra Sevika Samiti are expected to participate.
Speaking to media, Mr. Ambekar said the meeting was not an executive decision-making forum but an opportunity for organisations to exchange experiences and improve coordination. Current national developments, social changes and emerging challenges would also be reviewed.
