RRT to be formed to address timely redressal of road-related problems in Keralam’s Ernakulam district
The District Development Committee in Ernakulam, Kerala, has ordered the formation of a Rapid Response Team to address infrastructure issues like potholes and poor lighting. The team will also oversee maintenance and waste management projects across the district.

A meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC) decided to form a rapid response team (RRT) for the timely redressal of road‑related problems across the district.
District Collector G. Priyanka ordered the formation of the RRT, which will intervene to resolve issues such as potholes and absence of street lights, barricades, and reflectors. The Chief Minister’s representative called for a resolution to entry and exit problems on the national highway at Moothakunnam Junction.
He also pointed out that the public was struggling to use the service road along the stretch between K.P. Kamalakshan Road and Thuruthipuram due to the ongoing highway construction work.
