Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel attached to South Western Railway’s Mangaluru Central railway station on Saturday rescued a nine-year-old runaway boy from West Bengal under 'Operation Nanhe Farishte'.

Under the operation, the RPF actively works to rescue missing, runaway, and vulnerable children found at railway stations and ensure their safety and protection by handing them over to appropriate child welfare authorities.
