The Railway Protection Force’s (RPF) Pink Patrol-Drone team detected ganja worth over ₹9.40 lakh at Kacheguda Railway Station during a surveillance exercise to monitor suspicious activities on Friday .
During the operation, the team spotted two unattended backpacks on Platform No. 2 and immediately alerted ground personnel. On inspection, the bags were found to contain 16 packets of dry ganja weighing 18.189 kg, with an estimated value of ₹9,09,450. As no claimant came forward despite extensive inquiries, the contraband was seized following due legal procedure and handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP), Kacheguda, for further action.
