A 26-year-old rowdy-sheeter who allegedly entered Bengaluru in violation of an externment order and committed a dacoity with four associates has been arrested by the Channammanakere Achukattu police. The accused, identified as Dhanush, had been externed from Bengaluru for one year by the Special Executive Magistrate and DCP, South Division.
According to the police, the complainant, a resident of Manjunatha Nagar in Ittamadu, approached the Channammanakere Achukattu police on August 20, alleging that he was assaulted and threatened by Dhanush and four others on August 16. The incident allegedly occurred when the complainant was standing outside a bar in Manjunatha Nagar. The accused are said to have assaulted him and forcibly taken away the cash he was carrying.
