Today marked the start of Blizzcon 2026 over in California, and the Xbox-owned company had a lot of announcements to share as part of the opening ceremony, including two massive announcements regarding Diablo and StarCraft.

Those announcements were that Diablo V is officially in the works with a target release window of 2029, while a new open-world StarCraft game (not an RTS) is aiming for a 2030 release. Xbox has since clarified that StarCraft is definitely coming to console in addition to PC.
