New StarCraft and Diablo games in the works!
Today marked the start of Blizzcon 2026 over in California, and the Xbox-owned company had a lot of announcements to share as part of the opening ceremony, including two massive announcements regarding Diablo and StarCraft.
Those announcements were that Diablo V is officially in the works with a target release window of 2029, while a new open-world StarCraft game (not an RTS) is aiming for a 2030 release. Xbox has since clarified that StarCraft is definitely coming to console in addition to PC.
Lots of other reveals were sprinkled into the ceremony as well, so we'll list them down below. Not everything here is Xbox-related, but it's still interesting stuff all the same.
