Round 1 of UG medical counselling extended
Tamil Nadu has extended the registration and choice-locking deadline for round 1 of undergraduate medical counselling to August 20. This decision aligns with the extension of the All India Quota counselling schedule.

The round 1 of Tamil Nadu State undergraduate medical counselling is being extended. Candidates can register, fill and lock their choices till 5 p.m. of August 20, the Tamil Nadu Selection Committee said in a notification.
Referring to a notification of the Medical Counselling Committee that counselling for All India Quota has been extended, the Selection Committee said that accordingly, T.N. round 1 counselling is being extended.
