Rotorua jewellery store raid: Witness says five people fled in a car
A group of five masked offenders robbed a Pascoes jewellery store in Rotorua, New Zealand, using weapons to smash display cabinets. The suspects fled the scene in two stolen vehicles, one of which has since been recovered by police.

Armed masked offenders robbed a Rotorua jewellery store and smashed display cabinets before fleeing in stolen vehicles, police say.
Police were called to the robbery at a commercial premises on Tutanekai St about 9.30am today.
A witness said the premises was Pascoes The Jewellers.
A police spokesperson said a group of “masked offenders entered the store armed with weapons” and “smashed display cabinets” before leaving in two stolen vehicles.
