The Rotary Club of Madras has handed over a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Chamber to the Omandurar Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital on Thursday. The HBOT was procured with the support of Timken Foundation of Canton. A release said, the equipment will help enhance treatment for patients suffering from conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers, chronic non-healing wounds, burns, radiation injuries, and carbon monoxide poisoning. Sanjay Koul, Chairman and Managing Director, Timken India Ltd.; Ravi S., District Governor Nominee, Rotary International District 3234; and Rotary Club of Madras president S. Balakrishnan and former president Nikhil Raj were present, a press release said.
