Ronaldo given 30-day suspension and £215 fine by Portuguese FA

Cristiano Ronaldo has been suspended for 30 days and fined by the Portuguese Football Federation following his abrupt departure from the national team's training camp. The disciplinary action stems from a dispute with coach Jorge Jesus, though both parties have expressed a desire for a future reconciliation.
Why it matters
As one of the world's most prominent athletes, Ronaldo's disciplinary issues impact both the international standing of the Portuguese national team and the global sports media landscape.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been given a 30-day suspension and fined 255 euros (£215) by the Portuguese Football Federation after leaving his country's international camp last month.
The 41-year-old captain walked out of Portugal's Nations League squad in September after being an unused substitute against Norway and then finding out he would not start against Denmark.
Ronaldo said in a lengthy statement he had left because Portugal coach Jorge Jesus twice "broke his word", accusing him of an "absolute breach of trust".
It is not clear which matches or activities the suspension would cover, or whether time already served under a provisional suspension would count towards the 30-day sanction.
