Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox's favourite bakery is cleaning up after an apparent break-in attempt.
Rollers Bakery on Auckland North Shore had queues out the door last month after Fox gave it a shoutout following his British Open win .
On Saturday the bakery said on social media "someone attempted to break in by kicking in our front doors and smashing a window".
"We can't physically open our doors due to damage," a post on its Facebook page said.
"They didn't steal anything or damage inside the shop.
"We appreciate all the messages but we don't need help cleaning up or anything. Just going to go through insurance steps and/organising glass/door repair."
