Rohit Yadav withdrawn from India U-19 squads due to age discrepancy

Rohit Yadav has been removed from the India U-19 cricket squads due to an age discrepancy issue. He has been replaced by Aryan Savsani and Tanmay Baloda for the upcoming series against Australia.
Why it matters
Age fraud remains a significant integrity issue in youth sports, and this move reflects the governing body's commitment to enforcing eligibility standards.
Legspinner Rohit Yadav has been withdrawn from India U-19 squads for the upcoming home series against Australia U-19 due to age discrepancies. Aryan Savsani and Tanmay Baloda have been named as his replacements. Rohit had performed well on the recent tour of Sri Lanka, taking six wickets in the two-match four-day series. Savsani, from the Saurashtra Cricket Association, will replace Rohit in the One-Day squad, while Haryana Cricket Association's Baloda comes into the Multi-Day squad. The three One-Day matches will be played in Rajkot on September 18, 21 and 23, with the two four-day fixtures scheduled for September 27-30 in Rajkot and October 5-8 in Ahmedabad. Lakshya Raichandani will captain the One-Day side, with Yashbardhan Chauhan as his deputy.
