PETALING JAYA: The owner of a pet dog named Rocky, which was allegedly beaten and died during a stray dog-catching operation, is exploring her legal options, says her lawyer.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, lawyer Choo Dee Wei said his client, who only wanted to be known as Roghinidevi, is still awaiting the outcome of investigations by police and the veterinary services department into the July 29 incident at Taman Teluk Gedung Indah, Port Klang.
Recounting the events leading up to Rocky's death, Roghinidevi said a neighbour had told her that another dog had allegedly chased a child at another area in the neighbourhood, but that Rocky was not involved.
