Tim Curry’s cause of death has been revealed, one week after the death of the British actor, famous for his roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Home Alone 2 .
According to documents issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, 80-year-old Curry died of coronary heart disease.
Documents obtained by People magazine in the US also list kidney cancer and stroke as two significant conditions in his medical history that contributed to his death.
Curry, who is best known for playing Dr Frank-N-Furter in the cult 1975 musical movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show , died at home in Los Angeles last week.
The actor had been in ill health after a serious stroke in 2012.
