MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Police District (MPD) on Thursday announced that several roads will be closed for the anticipated "Interfaith Rally Against Corruption" by the United People's Initiative on Friday afternoon.In a Facebook post, the MPD said starting at 12:00 a.m. on Friday, roads will be closed on CRB Mendiola, which covers the stretch of C.M. Recto Ave. from N. Reyes to Mendiola and the stretch of Legarda from Figueras St. to San Rafael St.; Ayala Bridge and the eastbound lane of Ayala Blvd. from San Marcelino to Romualdez St.From 2:00 p.m. onwards, Liwasang Bonifacio will be closed, which covers the stretch of Magallanes Drive from Jones to McArthur Bridge, the southbound lane of McArthur Bridge from Plaza Lacson to Liwasang Bonifacio, and the southbound lane of Quezon Blvd. from A. Mendoza/Fugoso St. to Quezon Bridge to Liwasang Bonifacio, and the southbound lane of Lerma St. from Espa a Blvd./P. Campa to A. Mendoza Blvd.The MPD said the actual closing and opening of the roads will also be determined by the actual traffic situation.
