Review begins to include ‘processed shrimp’ in ODOP list

A delegation representing the Ministry of Food Processing Industries on a two-day visit to West Godavari district has arrived in Bhimavaram on Wednesday to inspect processed shrimp following the recent State government’s recommendation to declare it as a ‘One District One Product (ODOP)’ from the district.
The delegation held talks with West Godavari District Collector Chadalavada Nagarani for the inclusion of ‘processed shrimp’ in the list of ODOP, the Centre’s flagship programme to promote one unique product from each district in India.
