Revenue Minister Satya Prasad wonders if JAC leader Venkateswarlu is pursuing a political agenda
Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad has criticized JAC leader Bopparaju Venkateswarlu for allegedly pursuing a political agenda rather than focusing on employee welfare. The Minister defended the government's efforts to clear pending bills and restore pension schemes.

Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad on Saturday charged Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, APJAC Amaravati chairman and A.P. Revenue Services Association president, with provoking employees and damaging the relationship between the government and its workforce.
“Is Mr. Venkateswarlu focusing on resolving employees’ problems or pursuing a political agenda?” the Revenue Minister questioned.
The JAC leader was portraying the dues inherited from the previous YSRCP government as liabilities created by the NDA dispensation, while ignoring the funds released during the last two years, Mr. Satya Prasad said in a press release.
“The government is holding discussions with Mr. Venkateswarlu and other employee unions, and is fully committed to resolving the issues despite financial constraints,” the Revenue Minister said, adding that a majority of the bills kept pending by the previous government had been cleared, and the remaining would be cleared in phases.
