Revanth meets Speaker, assures govt. support

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka called on Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar in his chamber on Tuesday, and consoled him over the incidents that occurred in the Assembly premises on Monday.

The Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister met Mr. Prasad Kumar soon after arriving at the Assembly and expressed their anguish over the developments outside the House on the first day of the session.

The incidents outside the Assembly received wide coverage in newspapers, television channels and other media platforms. The Chief Minister said to have been distressed after seeing visuals of Mr. Prasad becoming emotional following the alleged personal remarks against him.
