Revanth and TCS announce ₹70,000 crore AI Data Centre in Future City, to be completed by June 2, 2028
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced a ₹70,000-crore investment by the Tata Group and TCS to build India's largest AI data centre in 'Future City'. The project is expected to be completed by June 2028 and create 7,000 jobs.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday announced ₹70,000-crore investment by the Tata Group, TCS and HyperVault in Telangana that would create the largest data centre in the country creating direct employment to 7,000 people.
The Chief Minister also set a deadline of June 2, 2028, the Telangana Formation Day, for the inauguration of what he described as India’s largest AI data centre. “From groundbreaking to inauguration, exactly 21 months from today, on June 2, 2028, we want to inaugurate India’s largest AI data centre,” he said.
Recalling his interaction with Chairman of Tata Sons N. Chandrasekaran, at the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2026, Mr. Reddy said he had requested him to bring “big news” for Telangana in terms of investment. “He smiled and accepted. He promised me that he would announce it shortly,” Mr. Reddy said.
