While the Head of Strategy & Sustainability, Siemens, Anantharaman Subramanian stressed on the importance of responsible economic growth by pointing out that the digital technology adoption in capital goods manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, power, and others offer growth opportunities in heavy industries sector which contribute 75% of the country’s GDP, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO – Vice-president), BMW Technoworks India, Subramanian Thiagarajan, stressed on the emerging role of connected mobility and the role of emerging technologies in changing user preferences.
