Residents and students blocked Yadgir-Sedam road due lack of transportation
Residents and students in Hattikuni village blocked the Yadgir-Sedam road to protest the lack of reliable bus services by the KKRTC. Officials have since intervened, promising to address the transportation issues.

Demanding proper transportation by the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC), residents and students of Hattikuni village blocked Yadgir-Sedam road for hours on Thursday.
The village is located on the Yadgir-Sedam main road. Due to heavy congestion and other reasons, the majority of the buses which pass through the village ply wihtout properly halting at the village.
Following this, the students were not able to reach school and college on time and other government employees who work in Yadgir were facing difficulties in reaching their office on time, the protesters said.
