Abor (V/R), Sept. 2, GNA- Residents along the Abor-Tsiame and Atiavi road in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region, have called on the Government to undertake the construction of the road, which is becoming a major threat to lives and businesses in the area.
They said the bad nature of the road had for years been a source of worry and disturbance to commuters, traders, and other road users who rely on the route daily for their livelihoods.
Mr John Kudjo, a resident of Abor, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said the poor condition of the Abor-Tsiame to Atiavi road had led to unnecessary accidents involving motorists, particularly motorbike and commercial vehicle operators, who often struggled to manoeuvre through the deep potholes and eroded sections of the road, especially during the rainy season.
