Republic Bank head calls discipline key to Ghana’s development

--> Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC Managing Director Benjamin Dzoboku said that the main obstacle to Ghana’s development is not a lack of resources, but a lack of discipline in society. He said this in an interview on Joy FM’s Personality Profile programme on September 17, 2026, MyJoyOnline reports .

According to Dzoboku, a society in which order, responsibility and discipline prevail can achieve significant changes in a relatively short period of time. He believes that a country’s development depends not only on the resources available, but also on how people, institutions and society as a whole manage them.
