SEREMBAN: The police have received a report against Perikatan Nasional election director Datuk Seri Mohd Sanusi Md Nor for remarks allegedly made at a ceramah while campaigning for the 16th Negri Sembilan state election.
State chief police officer Dep Comm Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the report was lodged by a 40-year-old man at the Bandar Seri Jempol station on Friday (July 24).
"The complainant was unhappy with a news report carried by a portal related to a ceramah by the Kedah Mentri Besar.
"The case is being investigated under Section 505 of the Penal Code for making statements conducive to public mischief," he said in a statement.
