Report: Brock Bowers to miss "a game or two" after meniscus trim

The Raiders hope to have running back Ashton Jeanty in the lineup against the Dolphins this Sunday, but they are set to be without tight end Brock Bowers.
Per multiple reports, Bowers will miss “a game or two” after having a meniscus trim on Tuesday. Bowers suffered an injury during training camp and the surgery to address the issue was scheduled last week.
The Raiders will play the Chargers on the road in Week 2 after hosting the Dolphins this weekend.
Bowers played through a PCL injury for most of last season, but wound up spending the last few weeks of the year on injured reserve. Another knee injury is a dismal way to start off the 2026 season and Bowers’s absence won’t make life any easier for quarterback Kirk Cousins even if Jeanty is available this week.
