Report: A.J. Brown believed to have a high-ankle sprain - NBC Sports

New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown is suspected to have a high-ankle sprain following a recent game against the Seahawks. He is scheduled for an MRI to determine the severity of the injury and his potential recovery timeline.
Why it matters
The injury significantly impacts the Patriots' offensive roster and strategy for upcoming games.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown’s Patriots debut came to an unhappy end in the third quarter of Wednesday night’s 13-10 loss to the Seahawks.
Brown hurt his ankle while trying to catch a pass from quarterback Drake Maye and did not return to the game. Head coach Mike Vrabel had no update to offer in his postgame press conference, but a report from NFL Media on Thursday says that the initial belief is that Brown suffered a high-ankle sprain.
Brown is set for an MRI on Thursday to determine the extent of the damage and create a sense of when he might be able to return to action.
