Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives , Benjamin Okezie Kalu, on Monday described the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a maternal figure whose leadership exemplifies compassion at its peak. In a congratulatory message on her 66th birthday, Kalu applauded her service to the nation, describing her as the Mother of the Nation, and commended her interventions across the federation, particularly her commitment to women’s empowerment, support for families and vulnerable citizens, and investment in young Nigerians, noting that she has brought a profoundly human face to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Kalu also applauded the First Lady’s commitment to raising funds to renovate and complete the National Library of Nigeria, describing it as symbolic of her vision for the future. He said: “Your Excellency, your life of service continues to demonstrate that leadership finds its highest expression in compassion.
