Relief effort for flood-affected people in Kerala

A coalition of organizations in Trichy has launched a relief campaign called 'Trichy 4 Keralam' to support flood-affected residents in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. Collection centers have been established across the city to gather essential supplies for those in relief camps.

A campaign titled “Trichy 4 Keralam” was launched by a group of city based organisations on Thursday with the aim of helping over 7,000 flood-affected people of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala.
Collection centres for relief items such as rice and other essential groceries, and clothes have been set up within the city at Cantonment (Maa Kauvery Hospital), Mannarpuram (Vdart), Srirangam, Chathiram Bus Stand, Kattur, Vayalur Road, K.K. Nagar, Thennur, and Ariyamangalam.
The materials can be donated until 5 p.m. on August 9.
The relief campaign is expected to assist people who have taken refuge in the camps at Kozhenchery, Konni, Adoor, Ranni, Mallappally, and Thiruvalla.
