Regional Round (South) of NTPC Electron quiz held in Chennai
The Regional Round (South) of the NTPC Electron Quiz was successfully held in Chennai, attracting 230 teams from engineering and management institutions. Teams from IIT-Madras secured both first and second positions, with Rajalakshmi Engineering College placing third, and the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals in New Delhi.

The Regional Round of South NTPC’s prestigious Electron Quiz was conducted at the MMA Auditorium, Chennai, witnessing enthusiastic participation from some of the country’s leading engineering and management institutions. While one team from IIT-Madras emerged as the winner, another team from IIT-M secured the second position. A team from Rajalakshmi Engineering College finished third.
A total of 230 teams, comprising two members each, participated in the preliminary round and six teams advanced to the grand finale. Welcoming the participants, Shri S. N. Panigrahi, ED (HR) & Regional Head of HR (North & South), underscored NTPC’s pivotal role in powering the nation’s growth while simultaneously nurturing young talent and encouraging a culture of learning, innovation and intellectual excellence through such knowledge-driven initiatives.
