Regional-level training held on School Management Committee reconstitution
Educational officials from four districts in Tamil Nadu participated in a regional training program focused on the reconstitution of School Management Committees. The session aimed to improve the governance and operational effectiveness of local schools.

A one-day regional level training programme on reconstitution of School Management Committees (SMCs), organised by Integrated School Education, was held in Thoothukudi on Monday.
District Education Officers (DEO), Block Education Officers, Assistant Project Officers and District Coordinators from Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi and Kanniyakumari districts participated in the programme held at KVS Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Thoothukudi.
District Chief Educational Officer (CEO) R. Sangeetha Chinna Rani presided over the programme and explained the importance of reconstituting SMCs.
State SMC functionary Ratha Vijayan spoke about the resolution passed by the SMCs and the follow-up action taken on them. Another State SMC functionary Bernard explained the functioning and activities of selected schools.
