Real estate sector hit by commissions demanded by Congress leaders: KTR

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao alleged that the ruling party leaders had ruined the real estate sector with 30% commissions, and it couldn't pick up because of such constant harassment, hitting the overall growth of the city.

Adding to the problem was the fear of HYDRAA in the city and people of the Musi catchment were living in fear as to when their homes would be razed by HYDRAA. He sought to know whether the agency had gone blind on the properties of Congress leaders Gaddam Vivek, Anumula Tirupathi Reddy, Patnam Mahender Reddy and others, which were either in the FRL (FTL) or buffer zone areas of the water bodies on the city outskirts.

He alleged that the Congress government had failed to implement the Musi plan even after the BRS government had set up 32 sewage treatment plants given house sites to two lakh families.
