Recently, I came across a newspaper article about a group of students assaulting a conductor of a Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) bus plying from Iyyappathangal to Royapuram.
The students were traveling on the footboard. The conductor requested them to come inside to close the doors. They refused to comply and continued to travel on the footboard.
