Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said farmers of Rayalaseema “rightly deserve every support” from the Central and State governments as they relentlessly struggle to cultivate their land with determination despite inadequate rainfall and hardships.
The Union Minister on Friday (October 2, 2026) jointly launched the ₹1 lakh crore Global Horticulture Hub - Rayalaseema Rising project and laid the foundation stone for the Indian School of Agriculture (ISA) here, along with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Reliance Industries Executive Director Anant Ambani.
