Rawalpindi confirms 23 dengue cases in 2026 so far

RAWALPINDI - Health authorities in Rawalpindi have registered 23 confirmed dengue cases out of 4,673 screened patients during the year, prompting intensive vector surveillance and strict administrative enforcement across high-risk union councils.

According to official disease surveillance metrics released by the District Health Authority Rawalpindi, 11 patients remain admitted in tertiary care hospitals, including six confirmed cases, while zero dengue-related fatalities have been reported to date.
