According to authorities, the water level at Rawal Dam had risen to 1,751.90 feet, prompting authorities to open the dam's spillways at 2pm.
The district administration also directed Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122, police, and other relevant departments to remain vigilant during the operation.
