NEW DELHI: BJP leader and former Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu was detained by Ludhiana Police on Saturday after he protested with eggs and tomatoes as chief minister Bhagwant Mann’s cavalcade passed through Ludhiana.Bittu was detained by the Ludhiana Police and whisked away to an undisclosed location. The detention came a day after Bittu alleged that his cavalcade had been attacked by AAP workers near Batala while he was travelling to Pathankot to attend the BJP’s anti-drug yatra.Bittu had on Friday claimed that more than 100 AAP workers targeted his cavalcade and hurled stones and eggs at the vehicles.
