Ravens Finalizing Trade For Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett
The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a trade for Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett, a move that analysts suggest may require the team to adjust its offensive strategy. The trade has sparked debate about whether Brissett's pocket-passing style fits the current roster compared to previous mobile quarterback options.
Why it matters
This illustrates the tactical adjustments NFL teams make when acquiring players with different skill sets, impacting team performance and roster management.
I dunno, yes and no for me. I think Brissett is good, underrated even, but I just don’t think that he precisely fits the offense in its current form. I thought that this would happen, even if I thought a more mobile QB would be a better fit. I’d have liked to have seen Brissett in Minnesota, personally. He would have been great with all of those pass catchers to distribute the ball to, which is his great strength. He’s cheap, though, which is what matters.
