Raul Rosas Jr. sends prayers to Barcelos after first UFC headliner win

Raul Rosas Jr. is grateful to come out victorious in his first UFC headliner – despite the unfortunate ending.

Rosas Jr. (13-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) finished Raoni Barcelos in Round 5 of their UFC Fight Night 289 matchup on Saturday at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, where the contest abruptly ended after a takedown sequence left Barcelos (22-6 MMA, 11-5 UFC) out cold on the canvas.

It was a scary scene which resulted in Barcelos being stretchered out to the hospital, but thankfully his coach provided a positive update afterwards. Rosas Jr. sent his well wishes to Barcelos, but also celebrated coming out on top after a Fight of the Night war.
