Rashmika Mandanna to play MS Subbulakshmi; Anirudh Ravichander to compose music

Actor Rashmika Mandanna is all set to play MS Subbulakshmi , the late legendary Carnatic singer and Bharat Ratna recipient, in an upcoming biopic. The film is set to be launched tomorrow, September 16, in Chennai, on the singer’s 110th birth anniversary.
The biopic is set to be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for helming titles such as Jersey and Kingdom . Interestingly, ace composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music for the biopic. Other details regarding the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
