Ranga Reddy DMHO in ACB net for taking ₹1 lakh bribe

Ranga Reddy District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday while accepting a bribe of ₹1 lakh.
According to preliminary information, DMHO Swarna Kumari demanded the bribe for processing permissions required for opening a new hospital in the district. The complainant subsequently approached the ACB, following which officials laid a trap and caught her while accepting the amount. ACB teams also carried out searches at the District Medical and Health Office in Shivarampally following the trap.
