Ramya Haridas seeks aide’s appointment as personal staff
Kerala MLA Ramya Haridas is seeking to appoint a political aide as her private secretary despite the aide being suspended by the Congress party. The request has been caught in administrative delays at the Speaker's office.

A day after the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) suspended Palayam Pradeep, an associate of Ramya Haridas, MLA, following a clash between Congress workers in Chirayinkeezhu, a letter was taken by the MLA’s personal assistant to the office of the Speaker seeking the appointment of Mr. Pradeep as her additional private secretary.
However, the Speaker’s office redirected the MLA’s personal assistant to the office of the Secretary of the Assembly. Since the Secretary was on leave, the letter will have to submitted again.
