A review meeting to evaluate ongoing development projects across various government departments in the Ramanathapuram district was held on Tuesday.
The meeting took place under the chairmanship of M. Vallalar, Commissioner of Labour Welfare and Ramanathapuram District Monitoring Officer, in the presence of District Collector M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran.
Ahead of the meeting, the District Monitoring Officer conducted field inspections across the district to evaluate public infrastructure and welfare schemes.
His visits included inspecting newly constructed zonal equilibrium water storage tanks in Natham and Perungulam villages built via the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, as well as reviewing overhead water tanks, household drinking water connections, anganwadi centres, and local school facilities in the Rajasingamangalam panchayat.
