Repolling is being conducted at 10 polling stations in Municipal Corporations of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota, and Suket Municipality on Wednesday (September 16, 2026) after technical glitches were detected in electronic voting machines (EVMs) during the counting of votes for the Rajasthan urban local body elections on Monday (September 14), officials said.

Repolling began at 7 a.m. and will continue till 6 p.m., according to the State Election Commission.

Five of the polling stations are in Jaipur Municipal Corporation, three in Kota Municipal Corporation, one in Jodhpur Municipal Corporation and one in Suket municipality.

In Jaipur, repolling is being held in wards 9, 18, 25 and 34.

According to the poll panel, complaints of technical glitches in EVMs at these polling stations were received during counting.
