Hyderabad witnessed a sudden spell of rain on Sunday (September 6) after weeks of dry weather, with many parts of the city turning cloudy and receiving showers during the afternoon.
The weather remained bright and sunny through the first half of the day before clouds gathered across several neighbourhoods after 3 p.m. Areas including Uppal, Habsiguda, Tarnaka and Mettuguda received rain, catching some commuters off guard.
As it was a Sunday, the showers did not result in major traffic disruptions. While several parts of the city received rain, many other areas remained dry.
