Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rahul Meena on Monday said railway authorities plan to run nearly 60 additional train services for the 2027 Godavari Pushkarams.
Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager (South Central Railway) Mohit Sonakia, East Godavari District Collector Ch. Kirthi, Superintendent of Police D. Narasimha Kishore and Mr. Meena reviewed preparedness for crowd management and coordination among all stakeholders for the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams.
“An action plan will be prepared in consultation with the Railways, APSRTC, police and other departments concerned for the management of the visitors. The railway authorities have also shared their inputs on their preparedness for the Pushkarams on Monday,” Mr. Rahul Meena told The Hindu .
