Railway Ministry approves tri-weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Bhuj in Gujarat, Barauni in Bihar

The Railway Ministry has approved the introduction of a new tri-weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Gujarat's Bhuj and Barauni in Bihar, which will cover a distance of 2,532 km, connecting important destinations across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Officials said that the Ministry will soon announce a date for the commencement of its services.

“Train No. 19427 Bhuj-Barauni Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Bhuj at 5:30 p.m. and reach Barauni at 04:05 a.m.. In the return direction, Train No. 19428 Barauni-Bhuj Amrit Bharat Express will depart Barauni at 11:55 p.m. and reach Bhuj at 1:15 p.m.,” a press statement from the Railway Ministry said.

The Bhuj-Barauni service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while the Barauni-Bhuj service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
