Raichur MP urges corporate houses to be active in CSR activities
Raichur MP G. Kumar Naik has urged corporate houses to contribute more than just funds to CSR activities, emphasizing the need for technical expertise and long-term partnerships. The call was made during the Raichur Impact Summit 2026 to address the district's developmental challenges.

G. Kumar Naik, Raichur MP, said that comprehensive development of the district requires not only Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds but also the expertise, experience, and technical knowledge of various companies, as well as long-term partnerships in society.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Raichur Impact Summit 2026, a district-level CSR conference at Navodaya Technical College in Raichur on Saturday (July 18).
“The district’s comprehensive development is dependent on the involvement of the companies’ representatives, society, private organisations and the public. Companies should send their representatives and experts to the district to study local requirements and demands while releasing the grant under the CSR fund. The district simultaneously requires active participation, along with adequate grants for overall development,” Mr. Naik said.
He also said that development in major sectors like education, dairy farming, health and infrastructure, implemented successfully in various States, should be achieved in Raichur district too.
