The Karnataka state government has appointed Rahul Ratnam Pandey as the new Commissioner of the Mangaluru City Corporation. He replaces Ravichandra Nayak, who has been transferred to a new role.

The State government on Friday posted Rahul Ratnam Pandey, a 2018-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, as Commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation.
The incumbent Commissioner, Ravichandra Nayak, a Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) officer, was transferred.
Mr. Pandey was earlier Managing Director of Karnataka State Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd. in Bengaluru.
