Ahead of the fifth edition of his Chhatron Ki Goonj programme in Indore on September 19, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Thursday sought students’ views on the problems plaguing the country’s education system.
The Congress has been seeking to expand the Chhatron Ki Goonj initiative , which literally translates as ‘Echo of students’, as part of its outreach to students and young voters. Mr. Gandhi, who has held similar interactions with students in Kota, Dehradun, Prayagraj and Pune, said hearing the concerns and views of students across the country was essential to changing the system.
